Azizulhasni Awang, A Real Hero With Real Grit

Azizulhasni Awang is the best thing that could happen to Malaysia after Datuk Lee Chong Wei and Datuk Nicol David. I have always been a big fan of him, and he is absolutely amazing in every way. Nicknamed the 'Pocket Rocket' I must say he has never failed to impress us, and for someone like him, he brings awesomeness to new heights. He has given multiple Olympic and world champ Chris Hoy a run for his money too many times, and that's just how amazing he is. And then came the news about what happened at the cycling championship in Manchester. I was seriously moved to tears! He's a miracle, this guy is! He was leading the championships, and he needed a good result to once again clinch the overall title for the third consecutive time, and he did it. But that wasn't the miracle behind his story. He was involved in a crash caused by a Spaniard, and the crash caused a chain reaction which caused other racers to fall as well, but this Malaysian hero actually GOT UP AND RACED TO THE FINISH LINE WITH A SPLINTER STICKING INTO HIS CALF! He was severely injured but our man here proved NOTHING is impossible. Malaysians reveled in his victory, the world stunned by his determination, which won him the overall title. His story is so amazing, the British and Australian and the Spanish media were raving! No words could describe what a true hero and amazing sportsman he is. We are indeed very proud of him. He just took extreme and determination to new heights. Congrats, Azizul! Get well soon. We don't want to lose you for sure. And thanks for showing the world what real determination, and fighting spirit is.
